Hello, my name is Jason Stephens I am a Landscape/Nature Photographer residing in Launceston, Tasmania.

Having no background in art, I took up photography in late 2011 after retiring from sport. I needed an outlet, like everyone does to escape the hustle and bustle of the 9-5 working life. 

​

During this time, I have explored some amazing areas of Tasmania, seen some incredible scenery and met people that share a similar passion for landscape photography that I now regard as life long friends. 

​

Photography to me is still a learning process, it relaxes me. Bringing home memories of what I have been lucky enough to witness, motivates me to get outside and capture the natural beauty this island is renowned for.
